In the beginning......

The oldest wedding photo we can find is that of the marriage of Mitchell Adam Chaneski to Helen Veronica Byron. While investigation of dates is ongoing.... I am going to venture a guess of December 29, 1928.  Serving as maid of honor is the bride's sister, Catherine (Auntie Kate) Byron.  And Serving as best man is the bride's brother, Edward (Uncle Eddie) Byron.

P.S. - Can you tell who is the bride and groom?  They are on the right.  Maybe the flowers give it away?  Looks like Helen is holding white roses, as opposed to a mixed colored bouquet held by Catherine.  It also looks like Mitchell has something white right below his pocket?  And finally, it appears if Helen has decor on her shoes, while Catherine's shoes are plain.
